A breath of Catholic fresh air! Stunning brutalist architecture! The history behind this structure is almost as fascinating as the building itself. Thank you, MARTIN, for such engaging conversation.
Now, I will admit I thought we would be in and out of this Cathedral in about 15 minutes. We were actually there for nearly 2 hours. The crypt is a must see and well worth the £5 entry fee. A fascinating story of what the Cathedral was meant to look like. The Cathedral itself is very modern compared to other Cathedrals, but that doesn’t retract from its beauty.
Fabulous only got see outside but it was a nice experience of a night no people. Have been inside though its breathtaking definitely worth a visit if you’ve never been don’t forget your camera.

The Titanic Memorial in Liverpool is a poignant tribute to the ill-fated ship and its passengers. The memorial’s solemn beauty and intricate details evoke a sense of remembrance and reflection. It serves as a powerful reminder of the tragic events and the lives lost. The location near the waterfront adds to its significance, as Liverpool played a crucial role in the Titanic’s story. Visiting the memorial is a moving experience that pays homage to history and honors the memory of those affected by the disaster.
Large monument dedicated to those who lost their lives working in the engine room on ships around that time. Initially just for RMS Titanic but by the time it was unveiled it was then to honour all engine room staff.

Even though I’m Not a huge Beatles fan, one cannot deny the importance / impact they have had on the music world! The statue is located at the water front, and there are lots of people. Self check in but it was ok as on a main road. Car parking straight outside hotel.
Good value for money.

Obviously a very popular statue to expect a bit of a wait before you can get a shot…that or expect the usual rude groups. ‘Not knowing how to queue’ – or as I like to call it, blatant ignorance.
One of the highlights of pier head. A really great statue of the Beatles in perfect location. Tucked nicely near to the ferry terminal. Nicely done and well sculptured. From here you can explore the fascinating waterside and museums.
