Laura has over 11 years Grooming experience and is a massive dog lover who has been involved with rescuing dogs for many years, along with trapping dogs whom have lost their way (all voluntary work her salon has a holistic approach working on a one on one basis with each dog.The salon consists of salt lamps, josh sticks and a calm approach working with more of the difficult dogs. We are Specialise in small dogs who are sedated at vets.. We can’t do bigger than shih tzu size.

Excellent service, our dog enjoys being pampered and has refused to enter other salons he didn’t enjoy, but positively left in through the door again today. Can’t Rate more highly than a 5 star as that’s as high as Google allows!
One very happy cavi!

First time at Laura’s dog grooming today and my Cairn Terrier and Cockerpoo look fabulous. Laura was so lovely and asked plenty of questions to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted, and she and her colleague were lovely with the dogs. They came out happy and looking gorgeous. Thank you and I will definitely be booking again .

I have an incredibly nervous dog who doesn’t deal well with being in new places or around other people. We took her to the groomers for the first time and straight away, to my surprise, she was at ease with Laura. Laura was friendly, professional and understanding. My dogs cut was very quick and she came out with her tail waggling. I highly recommend.

We offer a full holistic grooming service, all with Natural products and we do not use any form of cage in the salon. As a Reiki master, Julie will offer healing and ensure your dog is kept as calm and happy as if they were at home. We go the extra doggy mile and all grooms include a bath, nails clipped and ears cleaned ending with a luxurious blueberry facial. All drying is with hand dryers and if your dog needs a break from all the luxury they can have a play – again all with a view to keeping them happy.

Very reliable dog grooming business. Appointment requests are always arranged swiftly and there is great communication from owner. My dog, Dixie (Terrier) always comes out looking a lot tidier and appears to feel better for it. The only thing that is stopping me from giving my review 5 stars is sometimes his legs haven’t been done as well as they could have been. But in all truth, that’s probably due to to Dixie being a real live- wire who doesn’t like being still for very long. Recommended.

ike to thank the team at Hair of the dog for doing a lovely cut on my dog Chloe. Very pleased , she looked so much better and smelt gorgeous. Thank you.

Staff are really friendly. Very responsive when booking appointments. My cocker spaniel can be very boisterous but they handled him really well. His cut was perfect. Will definitely be returning.
