Great atmosphere and set-up. I’ve been training here for over a year and really enjoy it. I get trained by David Gilles and I can’t recommend him enough: loads of patience, knowledge and overall top guy. I’ve introduced a friend recently who thinks the same and joined. Simply put – the time invested here has had a huge benefit to my life. I leave the gym (everytime) feeling amazing! – what more can you ask for.
I have only been training here a couple of months but I absolutely love it and the atmosphere in the gym is great and very inclusive. I was made to feel comfortable straight away and going is the highlight of every week now. Would highly recommend

Friendly and welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds, shapes and sizes! But definitely a place where you can sweat and push yourself to the limit as well. I forgot my silver chain near the mat yesterday. I came back today and found it right where I left it. That says a lot.

Visited next gen MMA recently for some Bjj classes. They were super welcoming and friendly. Was a nice quick warmup (not 20-30 mins like some places), then about 20-30 minutes of very simple but very useful guard retention drills. The kind of thing that’s going to be beneficial to anyone at any level.

I started attending Kuk Sool Won just over a year ago in January of 2022. Coming from a martial arts background in my childhood I was amazed at how efficiently the school was run. I very quickly started to see improvements in my flexibility my confidence as a person and my overall physical performance and physique. The school has incredible facilities that are hard to find in modern day martial arts, a fantastic syllabus to learn from and an even better team of instructors to help you become the best individual you can be.

I would encourage anybody who is interesting in trying something new to start Kuk Sool Won of Liverpool. In addition to the physical and mental health benefits, it’s a great place to make friends and get to know like minded, friendly and supportive people.

We absolutely love this place. Our son, has been training here for more than 4 years and still can’t wait for every next class. He has gained so much confidence and life skills as well as martial arts self defence skills. The instructors are all amazing and patient and you can see how much they love teaching.
