We opened our doors in Summer 2020, We are a friendly, family-run chippy based in South Liverpool, just under the flyover – hence our name!Proudly serving delicious food, using locally sourced ingredients. We care about our planet so all our of packaging is recyclable, and in house we are as eco-friendly as possible!We offer a small but brilliant menu which offers anything from the indulgent to the healthy! We cater for everyone and offer gluten free, vegetarian and vegan dishes. Here at the Flyover Chippy we proudly serve delicious food, using locally sourced ingredients. Great new chippy by The Rocket Pub. Only a small menu but done right. Friendly staff and spotless. Very healthy steamed cod with salt and pepper veg and boiled rice – highly recommended!
Incredible. Great food, great taste and great service. Highly recommended- you’ve got to give it a go!
Excellent haddock dinners to be had here. Try the potato scallops too, great dunked in their curry sauce. Oh and the peas. Just accept you’ll want to try everything and be back more than once.

The food was cooked to perfection and the combinations were amazing! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
A wonderful restaurant and despite the lockdown, we’ve just had a takeaway fantastic Sunday roast with all the trimmings. The seafood first course was delicious, the mains roast beef was incredibly tender and the apple crumble, well, quite frankly we haven’t tried it yet ‘cos we were so full up after the first two courses but if they’re anything to go by, then the pudding will be just as good! Give Spires a whirl, I promise you, you won’t regret it.
