Remember Me – Dementia day care centre was opened in 2019 following the closure of a local charity, Rebecca Anderson our founder found us another premises and carried on the service. Our centre promotes person centred care in a caring home from home environment. We provide day time respite for those at any stage of dementia, giving families and carers a day to catch up on chores, or just to have some “me time”. We understand caring for someone with dementia can be difficult at times and also expensive, thats why we offer an affordable service with no extra costs. REVIEWS This is a much needed service for your loved ones and their carers, offering 10 hours a day 5 days a week respite and much needed recuperation for families. Knowing your loved one is in a safe environment that caters for all their needs. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack and cuppa tea cakes biscuits always go down well 😍 reminiscing, brain stimulation games including hand eye coordination games, memory games, knitting, puzzles, films, crafts and seasonal crafts to name a few, the staff enjoy this also 😍Pop in anytime for a look around for a cuppa and chat or arrange a taster session which includes lunch.

This is a wonderful centre, so friendly with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The range of activities they provide is so well thought out and you can see how well the clients respond. It really is an exceptional avenue of daily respite for carers, as clients are provided with fun and stimulation along with care and compassion. Well done everyone at Remember Me!

Would highly recommend this centre for anyone who is thinking about it for a loved one. Rebecca and Team are so dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for all who attend. A lovely friendly nursery. My daughter settled very quickly at 6 months old and I trust the staff completely. They were very good with settling in sessions, helping me get over the initial dread of leaving her for the first time. They introduce her to new healthy foods. The menu is great. She comes home with a little report each day to let me know what she has been up to. It sounds like she has lots of fun. I feel like I definitely made the right choice and I visited a few day nurseries before I decided on kids unlimited.

Our little boy absolutely loves his nursery and we do too. The staff are consistent, supportive, loving, friendly and honest. They have loads of outside access and meals cooked on site. We really couldn’t ask for more.

Amazing nursery, wonderful staff. My son spent 10 months here and during this time he developed wonderfully, he acquired lots of new skills, made new friends and enjoyed every day. Thank you for everything 🙂

New Brighton Day Nursery is located inside New Brighton Children’s Centre. Originally built and established as a Sure Start Centre and nursery in 2006. We have retained the same management and many of the original team. New Brighton Day Nursery were successful in being commissioned by Wirral Council to run the service independently from September 2014. We are a Community Interest Company which means we are an official ‘not for profit’ social enterprise. We are not driven by a need or motivation to maximise profit, we genuinely care about what we do. Our day Nursery in Wallasey on the Wirral strongly believe the early years to be a precious time, allowing children to be children, in developing, exploring and learning in their own unique way

REVIEWS Our little boy has had the most amazing experience at New Brighton Day Nursery. The staff are fantastic; very caring, fun and exceptionally creative and it’s clear each member of staff has a real passion for child-led development. We love the activities that the kids get involved in, day trips to the beach, visits to the care home, pets as therapy dog visits, yoga, fitness sessions, music, forest school and much much more – it really is an exciting place to learn and develop. Also; the gardens are superb, the facilities inside and out are excellent and all the kids have endless amounts of fun. Quite often it’s a struggle to get out little boy to come home! Highly recommend this Nursery, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely fabulous nursery the facilities are amazing and the staff are amazing in all of the rooms.

My so is now four and going to school in September he has really enjoyed his time at the nursery and he has built fantastic bonds and relationships with both children and staff. We were so impressed with how much he has enjoyed his time here and how the staff have interacted with is as parents that we have now enrolled our younger son and he is due to start in little stars and we can’t wait to begin his nursery journey

The environment is brilliant, and the handyman does an amazing job making new features and activity spaces in the garden for the children to have fun with.
